Easter Services.

Maundy Thursday, 17 April 7.30pm. Through Readings and Music we will recall the events in the Upper Room that preceded the arrest of Jesus.

Good Friday, 18 April 9.30am. Our commemoration of the arrest, trial and crucifixion of Jesus will follow the story as told by Matthew’s Gospel. Some of the music of J.S. Bach’s St Matthew’s Passion will enhance our remembering.

Easter Day, 20 April 8.00am and 9.30am.

Our 8.00am service is a small intimate service of Holy Communion that will help us rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus.
Our 9.30am service will include an opportunity for participation in a Congregational Re-affirmation of Baptism and Hoy Communion as a celebration with the Crucified and Risen Christ.

St Andrew’s will be open on ANZAC Day from 11.00am to 2.00pm. This will be an opportunity for those who want to sit and reflect, as well as those who want to explore the connections between this church and the events on the shores of Gallipoli in 1915.
Visit the Merrington ANZAC Memorial Peace Chapel. Our Honour Boards contain the names of over 200 members of this Church who served in World War I and we have fascinating historical information about many of them.
At 12.30pm we will celebrate Holy Communion using the silver Communion Vessels used by Rev Dr E. Merrington on the shores of Gallipoli with the Australian Soldiers.
Tea, Coffee and ANZAC biscuits will be available.

Our Regular Worship times are:

Sunday 8.00am (A small service including Holy Communion)

Sunday 9.30am ( A larger Service including Choir accompanied by Pipe Organ)
